The top new family resort chain for 2005/2006 is Dreams Resorts. Dreams Resorts was developed by the parent company of Secrets Resorts. AMResorts continues their rapid expansion throughout Mexico and the Caribbean. The RIU Resorts and Palace Resorts continue their introduction of new hotels with the recent opening of the RIU Cabo San Lucas, the RIU Palace Punta Cana and the newly introduced Cozumel Palace and Vallarta Palace.
